Ethiopia Hamasho Washed

A pristine washed coffee from Ethiopia. Not too dissimilar from a Guji in that there's a lot of fruits within the tea like thing. Nothing overly zippy though, a bit more muted by comparison to a fresh crop Guji so temper expectations somewhat here. That said it still hits and pops and does all the things we love from a washed at Royal Mile. You can read that as my distinct dislike of the coffee larping as tea profile from the finest of organic fair trade yirgacheffe's. Blech. 

I found the coffee to be peachy more so than anything else but you might get a fruit bowl of sorts going on here. I found the cup to be clean hence my "pristine" remark but there is some sort of mixing of taste notes going on that might throw you off. Lastly generally when you get a ton of sweetness that's a good thing and this coffee has a real honey'd like sweetness. YMMV.
