The first Bolivia we've had and it's a solid first offering to be sure from what might be a "rare" ish origin at least in terms of East Coast offering.. One of the ones where if you find one, it's either really good or kinda mid. See East Timor, Zambia and the like. You end up paying for it either way but that's the breaks on this sort of off the beaten path origin. Am I talking shit? Maybe. I don't know. It's just part of the story for us with these types. I'm sure there's a edge case and someone always loves to point this kind of stuff out about their absolute organic only bird friendly roaster in Evansville Indiana and well they buy only Bolivia and boy, it's WE the fools that just don't know what we're talking about. Just saying.
Overall a fun side quest coffee to cross off the map of I've had coffee from here along with process (I've not had a natural fwiw) that sort of showed something elegant yet expected. A rather cleanish natural so not much funk going on but more refined with some floral but kind of like from a shampoo floral not a flower floral if that makes sense. It was rather pear/grapefruit which I found to be a bit unexpected but nice and I think it was that element that reminded me of a more juicy like colombian which had me pleasantly suprised.
p.s. no shade what so ever on evansville indiana i'm sure it's nice. i've never been but I've got a cousin, I think, that lives there. I stopped talked to them because they got into drugs and well you know how that goes with family. Don't judge, you've got it in yours too. I'm on the wikipedias now and boy that downtown looks kinna cute! and the evansville otters play that and well isn't that just the cutest damn name for a team. Kawaii! I want a hat. Maybe I should ask that cousin to buy me a hat.
