This coffee is part of an ongoing initiative with one of the places I buy from that establishes relationships with producers and growing groups. Take that as you will. It's not direct trade but it's something we can consistently buy from and I like that I could visit if I want. The flip side is that this coffee will hang around and be more of a single origin staple (I hope) should market conditions not suck for the entire world.
I like this coffee for those reasons I like coffees from non-ethiopia/colombia lanes doing the ethiopia thing. It's a dry process to be SURE and for those wanting that funky stinky lane this even I would say goes more into the anaerobic lane than you might expect from those fruit bomb types. There's a lot of wine and cola (or soda or whatever) elements I picked up on. Very sweet and a chonky body.
