Colombia Los Naranjos Chiroso

I don't have a ton to say about this coffee because I'm just kind of tired right now and didn't want to post some mega scroll of words. I was very surprised by this coffee but not entirely so as Chiroso has become a bit of a "fun" varietal along side the Pink Bourbon lane in that it does something unique. It blends together the main things coffee can do in Fruit, Floral and Toasty. You can obviously go deep on these kind of things but at its base it does everything in balance. I feel this cup basically highlights the top end notes but balanced. A solid mix of flowers, oranges, alongside a plum taste with the obvious well known generalized colombia coffee taste but it's not basic. The fruits and floral lead the way. It's an acidic cup so be warned for like what the second or third time that just because it's colombia it's not juan valdez. Not round here partner.
