Nicaragua Mama Mina

Nicaragua Mama Mina

This was our first direct trade coffee. What that means is that we bought this from the farmer , in this case it's his son who has an operation setup in New York called The Pulley Collective.

It's a coffee that has gone through several "lots" so it's tastes have changed ever so slightly over the past year. The Miersch's are known for their day harvest picking as a rule so this happens frequently much to my back label's chagrin. In general you'll find a caramel, nutty brown sugar taste with an exceptionally clean and smooth finish.
