In my experience It’s rare to find a Dominican Republic coffee that gets out to markets that sell single origins. These island coffees tend to get ravaged by hurricanes frequently, have lower elevations, and mostly is kept for internal consumption see:instant coffee. I lept at this coffee because of it and while it won’t blow anyone’s minds it certainly is fun to try and say “I’ve done a thing” for those coffee achievement hunters. In my experience this one is best left in the Spro lane rather than drip but it’s a solid drip option. Tastes maybe darker it is so for those who moan about my light and bright side of the lineup this is pretty sweet to check out. Limited roasting options on this as we do it once a week. Available only in February.
