I guess it's time to update this beast of a coffee.Fear not, I think it's come into focus a bit what all works with this thing.

People often ask my "favorite" and that spins around like a top but for at least three weeks this thing was head and shoulders above. I rarely get "excited" and this one got me jazzed. I confess I've not wanted to previously update out the old version of this coffee because it was just that good. Like nothing in the marketplace of coffee good but alas Im sticking to the bit here. Commitment is something I do well. So what's what? Well the label says Ethiopia past it. Sorry. This Burundi was just too cool to not mess around with. An often unused origin by us for various reasons of no real consequence. The berry tones we got from the previous ethiopia has faded as for the lead taste not but the whole dry process "fruity" thing is there along with some exquisite chocolate tones. Both of course from the roast which will always be present to some degree and also in the light roast which was a shocker. Please don't think it's exactly this but we got a chocolate dipped strawberry.  It's not sugar sweet, or puckery, just like the worlds weakest chocolate dipped strawberry. The last of the lot kind. That sounds bad, but it's not.

Try this coffee as espresso and your head will spin. I'd drop this Vice BK against any shop in the country as a single origin espresso. We have a limited amount of this so my guess is maybe we pivot out around late april - as a heads up.

Reminder: The coffee we use for this changes throughout the year so it will change subtly. We'll update below when it does.

Updated 3/16: Current Coffee: Dry Process Burundi

Why are the vice jawn coffee's 14.99 and not 12.99. Simply put the coffee's going into these are very expensive and a fair bit higher in cost. That translates also to cup quality. In general sourcing Ethiopian's are always expensive even for the "lower" quality stuff and all of vice jawn is basically Ethiopian.
